In the first season of the psychological drama—based on Caroline Kepnes’ 2014 novel of the same name — Manhattan bookstore manager Joe Goldberg (Penn Badgley) stalked and dated Guinevere Beck (Elizabeth Lail) before killing her. It turns out he was just getting started. In an attempt to escape his demons, Joe moves to L.A., but West Coast life wears on the moody former New Yorker. It’s not long before he begins to loathe everything about the city, but then he meets Love Quinn (Victoria Pedretti), an aspiring chef who changes his perspective. Things start to look up for Joe until his dark side rears its ugly head—although this time, it seems the killer may have finally met his match.
