US President Donald Trump’s family have failed in their attempt to block publication of a salacious new tell-all book by the president’s niece, Mary L. Trump. The publisher’s description of Too Much and Never Enough: How My Family Created the World’s Most Dangerous Man says the book, written by the daughter of Trump’s late brother Fred, relays “a nightmare of traumas, destructive relationships, and a tragic combination of neglect and abuse”.
Trump’s brother Robert filed a request for a temporary restraining order to block the book on the basis it violates a 2001 confidentiality agreement. A representative for Mary Trump’s publisher, Simon & Schuster, said: “We are confident we will prevail should there be further efforts to stifle this publication.”
