A year after his disastrous, drunken four-day marriage to a waitress, four-time married Nicolas Cage has debuted a new love. The 56-year-old Leaving Las Vegas star was seen cuddling with the mystery woman at the Independent Spirit Awards in LA recently, with onlookers telling Biggerstars they were in a “love bubble”.
“Nic barely paid attention to anyone or anything else,” says a source. “They sort of quietly sat there holding hands and whispering together. Every time someone tried to talk to him, Nic would briefly chat then run back to her and make sure she was OK. It was quite sweet.” This comes just 11 months after Nic married LA waitress and makeup artist Erika Koike in Las Vegas, where they drunkenly applied for a marriage license and said “I do” in a casino. The actor then applied for an annulment four days later, claiming he had been “drinking to the point of intoxication”.
