After years of breakups and makeups, Gerard Butler’s inner circle is pushing him to make longtime love Morgan Brown his wife, an insider tells BIGGERSTARS WEEKLY. “He’s feeling pressure from all sides, including from Morgan, who says if this relationship is going to go the distance, they need to just get on with it,” says the insider.
“He’s been torn about it, since they do have their problems at times, but everybody can see she’s the love of his life.” Despite their on-off dynamic, Gerard’s pals believe Morgan is a great match for the actor, 50, as she’s “been a pillar of support” through his personal ups and downs; she even has the seal of approval from his mom, who’d love for them to have children. “Gerry acts macho, but there are self-esteem issues that have kept him from becoming a husband and father,” claims the insider. “Morgan’s been patient, but he has to make the leap, because she may not wait around for a ring much longer.”
