Kanye West & Kim Kardashian As the couple approach their sixth wedding anniversary, the cracks in their long-distance marriage are resurfacing.
Kim Kardashian‘s having trouble keeping up with her husband, Kanye West. Even under lockdown, the pair have been going their separate ways. “Kanye seems to want to be anywhere but in L.A. with Kim,” an industry insider tells BIGGERSTARS WEEKLY.
Indeed, the rapper, 42, recently jetted off to their $28 million ranch in Wyoming with their four kids, North, 6, Saint, 4, Chicago, 2, and 11-month-old Psalm, leaving Kim behind at home. “It’s no secret they’ve been having problems,” says the insider. “First it was the gospel album he took months to finish, then Chicago, where he needed to reclaim his roots by buying his childhood home. Now it’s Wyoming.” Meanwhile, the reality star, 39, has been holed up in their Hidden Hills, Calif., enclave, hard at work. “She spends 20 hours a week on her law studies:’ notes the insider. “Plus, she’s got Keeping Up With the Kardashians and other business ventures too.” At this point, says the insider, she’s fed up with trying to connect with her mercurial husband in what’s amounting to a trial separation. “Kim’s gotten used to Kanye‘s flighty behavior and doesn’t even put up a fight anymore,” the source says. “They just check in from time to time.”
Now friends are wondering how long Kim who once said, “If I don’t like something that’s going on in my life, I change it” will put up with a waning marriage. “They used to be so cute together,” says the insider. “The intimacy has been gone a long time.”
