Four months into their red-hot romance, a source says Spider-Man costars Tom Holland and Zendaya have hit a rough patch.
“Things have cooled off, and it’s not simply because they’ve been forced to spend a lot of time apart due to their hectic schedules,” the source shares. The British actor, 25, “is just not that deep a guy, while Zendaya is more of a wise old soul,” dishes the source, who says it’s only natural that the Dune actress, 25, can get frustrated with her beau. Even when they are together in the same city, “the strain is starting to show,” adds the source.

While the couple Tom Holland and Zendaya, who will reunite to promote the Dec.17 release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, have genuine chemistry, “the worry is that Tom and Zendaya are just very different people,” the source laments. “It’s going to take a lot of work and compromise if this relationship is going to last off-screen.”
